Research Library of the National Bank of Hungary
Brief Summary
The library of the National Bank of Hungary was established along with the central bank itself in 1924, and has been working continuously ever since. During the 78 years the library has gained a significant economic and financial collection - both foreign and domestic, and holds unique special collections. Keeping and improving traditional library functions the library is facing now a new challenge- developing an active information and document delivery service. Its new integrated library system (OLIB7) was introduced in 2000, which enables users to search and retrieve the collections of articles, monographs and bank publications from 1982 on.
