Authorisation to produce or order the production of reproductions of the Hungarian legal tender is granted by the MNB under a public procedure.
The President of the MNB either exercises the public authority directly or relegates it to the organisational unit conducting the public proceedings: MNB Cash Logistics Unit.
Jurisdiction: national.
Amount of the administrative service fee: the authorisation process is free of charge.

Application Form: the Application Form specified in the Annex of the MNB Decrees on reproductions of forint banknotes and coins (attached document: Application Forms)
Time-limits for administration: 22 working days, which period may, prior to its expiry, be extended with good reason on a single occasion by a period of 22 working days.
