The aim of the Quarterly Report on Inflation is to promote public understanding of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank’s monetary policy by presenting past and expected developments in inflation and providing detailed assessments of the key macroeconomic factors driving inflation.
From February 2009, the Quarterly Report on Inflation is prepared in February, May, August and November, with each issue ranking equally. In line with international best practice, the Report is published at 10 a.m. two days after the Monetary Council’s interest rate-setting meeting.
Electronic version of the Report on Inflation published before the June of 2000 is not available.
