Recently, the promotion and support of interbank cooperation, the collaboration as a catalyser in the changes occurring in the payment and settlement systems became one of the most important tasks the central banks.
The Magyar Nemzeti Bank deems for a particularly important task to provide that the domestic banking community should receive information determining their activity and influencing their key decisions concerning the most important up-to-date issues affecting the systems from first hand, from authentic international experts.
From this end, with the intent to create a tradition MNB launched its autumn international payment system conference series in 2002.
